The Art of Kung Fu - Moving Meditation and Breathing Workshop

Information of Sunday March 13, 2011 Workshop at Radiolaria's Sunday Market

The Workshop started at 2:00 pm and ran until 4:00 pm. Rob was there early for anyone who is interested in more details about the class.
His hope was that if you have family, especially children that you brought them to participate with them. " It would honor me greatly to have a family as a whole present and active for this event."

Rob is a local community member and he has dedicated his life passion to the Mastery of Kung Fu. He has been a professional Instructor throughout the GTA for over 10 years. He is  also a Reiki Master, studied in a variety of different esoteric healing modalities. However his best healing is done through the teaching of Kung Fu. He looks forward to meeting with anyone who is interested in learning more about this glorious art form.

Kung Fu originates from the movements of Yoga and was brought to the temples of upper Mongolia and China by a Buddhist monk, Bodhidharma. Yoga originated in the heart of India: the greatest wisdom centre on the earth. If he were to give a name to what he teach it would be Maha Prajnaparamita Hridaya Sutra (Great Wisdom-Perfection Heart Sutra). He teaches from the heart centre and is guided by the wisdom of spirit.

Style -- He has dedicated my life work and passion to the art of Kung Fu. He taught his own unique form derived from a variety of martial arts styles or systems. He incorporates movements that have origins in dance, yoga, gymnastics, and all forms of martial arts. He is a full-time student of life working on an ongoing masters thesis in human bio-mechanics. His school is the universe and his greatest teacher is God.

He has studied extensively in the Moh Temple System which consists of, but is not limited to, the following martial arts styles: Moh Pai Kempo (The Awakening of the Dragon), Sil Lum Pai (The 5 Animal Styles), Pai Hu Shih (White Tiger Style), Pai Seng Shih (White Priest Style), and Tai Chi Chu'an (The Flowery hands and the Soft Flowing Hands of Iron). These are just a few of the more predominant styles he is versed in, but in no way reflect the extent of my studies.

Healing -- Rob has studied with a variety of teachers, healers and intuitives, the most important of whom would have to be my spirit guides who have been teaching me my whole life. He has a passion and a desire to learn about different healing modalities or spiritual systems of the divine. He learns through books and courses, or through mentors and gifted spiritual advisers.

During the class Rob will be covering some of the healing exercises and methods that he have been taught, learned, or intuited through my studies. They are influenced predominantly by the methods of Reiki, but not exclusively. In Native American Shamanic studies there is a strong emphasis placed on the development of martial arts skill and physical strength. The stronger one’s body, the more powerful the "magick" one can produce. In the context of Kung Fu and healing, the reference to “magick” is best understood as “chi”. Through teaching Rob has learned to blend the esoteric wonders of a variety of healing modalities, and the art of Kung fu together.

This has to be experienced and seen firsthand in order to be understood. Rob hopes that you will all had the opportunity to do so on Sunday at Radiolaria.

There is no fee for attendance or participation. However out of respect for sacred law - "The Law of Exchange". A non-required monetary donation, or a heart gift - meaning anything you wish to exchange for the sharing of knowledge would be appreciated (I like dark chocolate and Portuguese Custard tarts). Or if you so wish, Pay-it-forward!!! The universe will take care this, it always does.

Namaste!
