Reiki with Kung Fu Rob

Kung Fu originates from the movements of Yoga and was brought to the temples of upper Mongolia and China by a Buddhist monk, Bodhidharma. Yoga originated in the heart of India: the greatest wisdom centre on the earth. If I were to give a name to what I teach it would be Maha Prajnaparamita Hridaya Sutra (Great Wisdom-Perfection Heart Sutra). I teach from the heart centre and am guided by the wisdom of spirit.
Style -- I have dedicated my life work and passion to the art of Kung Fu. I teach my own unique form derived from a variety of martial arts styles or systems. I incorporate movements that have origins in dance, yoga, gymnastics, and all forms of martial arts. I am a full-time student of life working on an ongoing masters thesis in human bio-mechanics. My school is the universe and my greatest teacher is God.
I have studied extensively in the Moh Temple System which consists of, but is not limited to, the following martial arts styles: Moh Pai Kempo (The Awakening of the Dragon), Sil Lum Pai (The 5 Animal Styles), Pai Hu Shih (White Tiger Style), Pai Seng Shih (White Priest Style), and Tai Chi Chu'an (The Flowery hands and the Soft Flowing Hands of Iron). These are just a few of the more predominant styles I am versed in, but in no way reflect the extent of my studies.
Healing -- I have studied with a variety of teachers, healers and intuitives, the most important of whom would have to be my spirit guides who have been teaching me my whole life. I have a passion and a desire to learn about different healing modalities or spiritual systems of the divine. I learn through books and courses, or through mentors and gifted spiritual advisers.
During classes I cover some of the healing exercises and methods that I have been taught, learned, or intuited through my studies. They are influenced predominantly by the methods of Reiki, but not exclusively. In Native American Shamanic studies there is a strong emphasis placed on the development of martial arts skill and physical strength. The stronger one’s body, the more powerful the "magick" one can produce. In the context of Kung Fu and healing, the reference to “magick” is best understood as “chi”. Through teaching I have learned to blend the esoteric wonders of a variety of healing modalities, and the art of Kung fu together.

Introduction to Tarot

Most people know the Tarot as a fortune-telling game, if they know of the Tarot at all, but the game hides a profound secret. The 78 cards in the Tarot deck are keys to decipher the cryptic language of nature and consciousness, both personal and transpersonal. This workshop introduces you to the 22 Keys of the Major Arcana as they relate to consciousness and provides you with some simple techniques for using the Keys to expand your understanding and transform your circumstances.

Lori Jankowski lives in Toronto and has been working with the Tarot and related disciplines for over 15 years.

Rediscovering the Art Dowsing to Make Your Life Better

"I know very well that many scientists consider dowsing as a type of ancient superstition. According to my conviction this is, however, unjustified. The dowsing rod is a simple instrument which shows the reaction of the human nervous system to certain factors which are unknown to us at this time." - Albert Einstein

Right at this moment, toxic winds coming from Japan are carrying out high amounts of harmful radiation around the world. It’s an environmental disaster that affects millions of people for being exposed to radioactive waves since their last earthquake. At a different scale, we in Toronto, also have to deal with all the radiation around us coming from cell phones, laptops, Ipods, even microwave ovens; not to mention our own and from others negative thoughts. Throughout the years I’ve been working with dowsing I found that harmful radiations can be removed or depleted.

Dowsing helps us find these energy in our bodies, homes and offices.  Dowsing is also empowering because we can transform any type of energy to our benefit with the use of elements from Mother Nature and…. our own intuition!
For the last 30 years I’ve been deeply curious on learning how to be in harmony with the environment we live in, and how the environment can contribute to my personal growth. For example, Feng Shui gave me the opportunity to explore the use and benefits of the flow of energies that are coming into our houses or working places. While I was learning how to channel the flow of energy I discovered the power of Dowsing.
What amazes me the most is that everybody has the ability to learn this art. In the past, Dowsing was considered a gift. Only those who were born in a family of dowsers were able to learn the technique, making it almost impossible for others to learn it.
My vision is that there should be a dowser in every home, in every family. That is what drives me to spread the word through articles, lectures, workshops and my writings. In my workshops I apply practical visualizations to assure you that you are able to dowse, it is just a matter of building up your confidence with the rods. One of the reasons you will want to learn how to dowse is because energies are in constant change, flowing, blowing, falling and rising inside and around us.
In this technology driven society, the negative effects of radiation are becoming evermore apparent.  To improve this, I encourage you to learn more about Dowsing and how it can have a direct positive impact on your overall wellbeing. We all have the ability to learn this amazing technique and use it in our daily lives.  I invite you to attend my workshops, where you will be introduced to Dowsing and experience firsthand the positive change of energetic fields.

Pondering Play with Souls Talking Brian

Sanctuaire Soul’s Sanctuary began, in 1991, across the ocean shore, backpacking an adventure of inspired dreams, awakened in the heart, mind and soul of a young, renaissance woman.
The playshop we will BE providing the little "taste test" to for Radiolaria's Fundraising Event is: Community Soul Touch

For the Fundraiser we are going to host a Community Circle Gathering for Pondering Play between Earth Angels Divine, Souls Talking Brain, with the intentional masterMINDing purpose of sending forth our united energy for the BEnefit of ALL of WE.

We call this Community Circle Gathering:

"Pondering Play with Souls Talking Brain"

it IS inspired by our WebTV Show, "Souls Talking Brain" which airs every 2nd Wednesday:

for the Fundraiser we will BE posing the Pondering Question for our masterMINDing pleasures BEnefitting ALL:

"What IS the purpose of our existance?"

Belo Monte Dam would be the one of the largest, most devastating infrastructure projects ever to be built in the Amazon.

It would divert the flow of the Xingu River and devastate an extensive area of the Brazilian rainforest, displace over 20,000 people and threaten the survival of indigenous peoples.
On August 26, the Brazilian government signed the concession to build the Belo Monte Dam, despite concerns over its financial viability, growing resistance amongst indigenous groups and social movements, and predictions of technical experts that the dam will be one of the worst engineering projects in Brazil's history.
Now is a crucial time to take action to defend the Xingu River.

Maracatu Mar Aberto

What is Maracatu? Maracatu is a manifestation from Recife, Pernambuco Brasil, and while we focus on the music of maracatu de baque virado, the tradition is rich. Acknowledging the universe that is Maracatu de Baque Virado, and the people who have brought this music and dance to where it is today: the Africans (kings, queens, farmers and warriors) enslaved in Brazil, who expressed art and community through this manifestation. Our style is traced through the lineage of Maracatu Estrela Brilhante do Recife and Mestre Walter de França, Trovão das Minas and Maracatu Nunca Antes.

We are a living tradition of maracatu in a local context; not a folkloric representation. Working collectively on the artistry and heritage that is maracatu de baque virado.
Instructor: Alex Bordokas. Alex has played in Maracatu Estrela Brilhante de Recife since 2002 and founded Maracatu Nunca Antes in Toronto in late 2003.

War Resistors Talk led by Dale

Please watch this video as it informs the projected consequences and updated stance. Together, the community is planning to organize a rally in April in front of the Brazilian Embassy to display our resistance against the construction of the dam.

During the period of 1965-1973, more than 50,000 Americans made their way to Canada, refusing to participate in an immoral war. At the time, Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau said: "Those who make a conscientious judgment that they must not participate in this war... have my complete sympathy, and indeed our political approach has been to give them access to Canada. Canada should be a refuge from militarism."

Thirty years later, Canada is faced with the same moral choice. Since 2004, a growing number of American soldiers and their families have made the decision to seek sanctuary in Canada in objection to the war in Iraq.

Following the Second World War, the Nuremberg Tribunal set out important principles of international law. Those principles established that soldiers have a moral duty, not a choice, to refuse to carry out illegal orders.

Canada should not punish US war objectors for exercising their conscience and refusing to fight. If they are returned to the United States, they face court martial before a military tribunal and years in prison. Even the death penalty remains on the books in the U.S. as a possible punishment for desertion during wartime. Canada must not facilitate the persecution of American war objectors by returning them to the United States.

The majority of Canadians did not support this war. The Canadian government did not support this war.

The War Resisters Support Campaign calls on the Canadian government to demonstrate its commitment to international law and the treaties to which it is a signatory, by making provision for US war objectors to have sanctuary in this country.

When the mind is stilled in yoga, the psychological experience of time ceases to exist. Altered states, such as those produced by cannabis or deep meditation (and the coupling of the two) can help us to bring our awareness deeply into the present moment, producing transformative effects that can carry forward into ordinary consciousness.

While it is important (and also fun!) to cultivate a meditative practice without dependence on visionary medicines, cannabis is an entheogenic ("God within") substance has been used by spiritual aspirants for thousands of years. The idea is to use psychedelics such as ganja to enter altered states, and then have a reflective practice in which we can cultivate permament traits, even after the buzz has wore off.....

~ Come explore the depths of your inner world and yogic practice in a safe space. We'll smoke some bud (bring your own) outside (optional!), from 8:45-9pm or so... and then start the worlds-most-relaxing-and-trippy-yoga-class, ever (!) from 9pm-10pm. All levels.
Bring a mat, blanket, or towel to sit on.

Dee runs a small yoga-studio-healing-arts-community-space from her home, called 'Follow Your Bliss: Yoga. Tantra. Life.' She is so delighted to see her vision of a community space that focuses on co-operation, consciousness, and creativity manifest before her very eyes, and she loves supporting other spaces which share in this endeavor.

Follow Your Bliss is a yoga studio unlike any other in the city, with super-affordable yoga classes and healing arts, as well as parties and events where consciousness-raising, healing, and the following-of-bliss are top priorities.

Dee has been practicing yoga for over fifteen years. She is a recent yoga graduate from ‘Sananda’, and she lives, breathes, and teaches a comprehensive style of Hatha yoga that focuses on yogic practices as a vehicle for the transformation of consciousness.

Dee also leads Tantra and Sacred Sex workshops, as well as cannabis-assisted yoga classes ("ganja-yoga"). She is interested in exploring as many paths to the mountain-top of consciousness as she can, while creating a safe space to allow others to do the same.

As well as being a social entrepreneur, Dee considers herself a visionary community builder, and she invites anyone who is interested in sharing their gifts at Follow Your Bliss to contact her because she's excited by all of the committed and inspirational people in Toronto who are creatively manifesting the evolutionary impulse!
